AIM offers weekly tutoring from Skinners’ Grammar School in Tunbridge Wells and The Judd School in Tonbridge. The lessons are every Monday 5pm – 6pm during term time and Monday 9.30am – 12.30pm during school holidays. Two mock exams held at Skinners’ School are included in the programme providing a excellent introduction to exam conditions enabling children to work on timings, and overcome nerves. We also offer two enrichment fun days during the year usually at The Bowles Outdoor Activity Centre. This is all included in the programme and is free.

AIM has worked with The Right Tuition Company based in Tunbridge Wells for a number of years. RTC deliver premium quality teaching with a team of experienced professionals allowing children to discover a sense of fun through learning and tap into their true academic potential. The groups are small, never exceeding 10 children.

Weekly feedback on the lesson and details about homework will be emailed to parents following each session.

How do I qualify?

We are a charity supporting low income families unable to otherwise afford tutoring fees.  Families with a household income of under £25,000 can apply although please get in touch if circumstances such as additional benefits brings your income above this.

We also require children to be working at a level suitable for grammar and ask that your application to the programme is supported with a letter from school and/or a copy of your child’s school report. Any evidence to support your child’s academic abilities is very welcome.
